Handbells Sheet Music

Handbells are bells are played grasping the bell by its slightly flexible handle. This is made of leather or plastic and the wrist is moved to make the hinged clapper inside the bell strike.

Their use has largely died out possibly due to the limited use they can be put to.

Handbells were used extensively on the album Elizabethan Serenade, notably on the eponymous title track. The songs on the album were sung by The Guünter Kallmann Choir and published under the Polydor label.
