Prelude In C Minor (BWV 999) Sheet Music
also known as Präludium in C Moll BWV 999 Sheet Music Artist and Writer: Johann Sebastian Bach (also known as J. S. Bach) |
The Prelude in C Minor (BWV 999) is one of the most exciting pieces that Johann Sebatian Bach ever wrote. It is played as a Prelude to the Fugue in G Minor (BWV 1000), but fares well as a stand-alone piece of work. The Prelude in C Minor (BWV 999) was originally written for lute and probably predates the fugue it normally precedes in a concert programme by several years. The piece is fast-paced with no break in the music, but it is actually easier to play than it sounds. Level 3 of the Prelude in C Minor (BWV 999) is shorter than the original version, and Level 2 is n an easier key, and written out in half-time.
