Piano Concerto A Minor, Op. 16 Sheet Music

Piano Concerto A Minor, Op. 16 Sheet Music
also known as Klavierkonzert a-moll Sheet Music
Artist and Writer: Edvard Grieg (also known as Edvard Hagerup Grieg, Edward)
The Piano Concerto A Minor, Op. 16 is the only concerto that Edvard Grieg ever completed. Despite this, it is one of his most popular pieces, and indeed one of the most popular piano concertos. As it is in the same key, and uses a similar opening statement the "Piano Concerto in A Minor" is often compared to Robert Schumann’s piano concerto. Grieg wrote the piece in 1868 whilst visiting Denmark - he was escaping from the cold weather of his native Norway. The British comedians Morecambe and Wise used the "Piano Concerto A Minor" in a famous sketch featuring the conductor André Previn.
