This wedding march (bridal chorus, a.k.a. "Here comes the bride") can be heard in Wagner´s opera “Lohengrin” on the occasion of the wedding of Elsa, daughter of the Duke of Brabant, with Lohengrin, the Knight of the Holy Grail and son of Parsifal.
Alongside Mendlessohn's wedding march, this bridal chorus is the most popular piece performed at weddings.
