The Aria is the opening piece in Johann Sebastian Bach’s Goldberg Variations (BWV 998). There are 30 variations in the Goldberg Variations, and the Aria is probably the best known, having featured in many adverts and films, including the English Patient. The original Level of the Aria (Goldberg Variations) includes the musical ornaments as Bach intended them - if you are unfamiliar with executing these, then we suggest trying the sheet music to Level 3.5 of the Aria - this has the ornaments fully written out.
