So you want to have your own backing trio playing in your key and your speed? Then we have some cool recordings for you. Listen now by selecting a sample file on the right.
These are blues backing tracks available in all keys and at three speeds: 80, 120, 150bpm (beats per minute). And we also supply the scores for the bass and piano accompaniments and the chord lead-sheets in every key for free.
Each key and speed combination comes in three sorts:

A full version consisting of all three instruments: piano, double bass and drums. These versions have the bass and piano panned to opposite side of the speakers (left and right respectively), so you can choose to pan out one instrument with the pan knob on your stereo
- Alternatively, if you do not have a facility to use the pan function, you can download a file with drums and just bass (for pianists, guitarists) and one with drums and piano (for bass players). We have also included the bass lines and chords (comping) of the pianist for a better learning experience.

The sound files are all in MP3 format and at 80bpm last just under 2 minutes. We have also bundled collections of these together to provide even better value. Please note that individual files are 2 to 3Mb in length and bundled versions are 7Mb. We can also supply a CD containing all versions and all scores - over 200Mb.

Blues No. 1 is the very first in our series of backing tracks. It represents the Blues in it's most basic form, and together with our Improvisation Guide forms the perfect way to start improvising. If you already have some experience at improvisation, then our backing tracks are the perfect way to improve your playing of the Blues in other keys and at faster tempos. Have a listen to our short samples on the right hand side.
We also have the files for the bass lines and piano chords (comping) used in these play-alongs. There are two files for piano and bass each, one in C major (which was transposed to be used in the keys from B to E major), and one in F major (which was transposed to be used in the keys from F to B Flat major). These are FREE to download.
